Creative Partnership Programme

Since 2023, when our Creative Partnership Programme was established, the Foundation has partnered with multiple organisations and supported a wide range of creative initiatives including film festivals, dance and music productions, and community-based projects. Some of our partnerships have included: Cayman Islands Folk Singers, Cayman National Choir & Orchestra, Cayman Arts Festival, and the University College of the Cayman Islands Performing Arts troupe.

The programme provides our partners with access to our venues, professional expertise, technical knowledge, and equipment for productions. Partnerships can range from single projects to ongoing collaborations.

Associate Artists

The Foundation holds several iconic performance pieces belonging notable Caymanian musicians including “Aunt Julia” Hydes’s drum and Mr. Radley Gourzong’s fiddle, in addition to archives of Caymanian folk music, plays, and performances. In addition to preserving these for perpetuity, we offer teaching resources relating to traditional music and performance.

Through our Associate Artist programme, the Foundation partners with artists and educators to present an innovative, impactful programme, and to develop new, ambitious creative projects which will be premiered in our venues. Artists are invited to work with us – contact us to find out more.

National Gallery of the Cayman Islands 

The Foundation is proud to have forged a close alliance with our immediate neighbours the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI). As the country’s national art museum and leading visual arts education facility, NGCI is committed to providing innovative, creative programming and a multidisciplinary approach to the presentation, interpretation and collection of the artistic expressions of our cultural heritage and current times. This mandate is achieved through a variety of activities that aim to reach all members of the Cayman Islands community and the visiting public including: outreach programmes, educational programmes, exhibitions, youth programmes, events, workshops, teacher training, school collaborations, art collections, lending library and educational lectures. 

The Foundation regularly partners with NGCI to co-curate exhibitions of the Gladwyn K. Bush Art Collection across both venues, and to engage in shared research and educational initiatives.

Cayman Islands National Museum

The Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) and the Cayman Islands National Museum (CINM) share a common commitment to preserving, promoting, and deepening our understanding of Cayman’s cultural heritage. Through a strong and longstanding partnership, our organisations collaborate on a wide range of educational and community initiatives, including the Culture Keepers programme, public lectures, exhibitions, classroom visits, and cultural outreach events.

Through this collaboration we combine our expertise, resources, and reach to create meaningful experiences that connect people of all ages with Cayman’s history and cultural identity. We are proud to ensure that the traditions and values that shape the Cayman Islands are preserved and celebrated for future generations.
