Floetry

Floetry is a community poetry association established in 2009 by Hylton Grace to provide a platform for poetry and to help build a network of poets in the Cayman Islands. Its remit includes regular open-mic events and literary festivals.

Open Mic Poetry

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Floetry reunited in 2023 when it joined the Foundation and formally became a Resident Group in 2026.

Floetry now holds a monthly open-mic poetry event at the Studio Theatre. The evening is free of charge and no sign-up is required.
