Harquail Theatre
The Harquail Theatre, named after philanthropists Frank and Helen Harquail, is the Cayman Islands’ premier performance venue. Opened in 1987 and designed by architect John Doak, it seats 300 guests and features state-of-the-art lighting and audio. The stage (31 x 29 feet) includes ample wings and a fly system for dynamic performances. The facility also offers a green room, large dressing rooms with showers, and additional space for key performers.

The Harquail Theatre
Named after philanthropists Frank and Helen Harquail, the Harquail Theatre is a premier performance venue, functioning as the national theatre for the Cayman Islands. Built in 1987 with assistance by architect John Doak, it comfortably seats 300+ guests and is equipped with state-of-the-art computerised lighting and audio. Our stage measures 51 x 26 feet, with ample wings and a fly system for a range of performances. The facility includes a green room, two large dressing rooms with showers, and an additional dressing room for key performers. The theatre also houses our costume and prop collection.
The Harquail’s Foyer Bar is run by the CNCF Theatre Department and offers a selection of beers, wines, soft drinks and snacks in advance of performances with lounge seating and standing room. We do not offer bar buyouts.
